Marjorie (Morse) Packard

Laconia, NH------Marjorie (Morse) Packard, 87, died peacefully at home on February 4. She was a long time resident of Coupeville, Washington, before moving to Laconia, where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law Sharon and George Griffin. Marjorie was a native of Rutland, Vermont before moving to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. After earning a nursing degree she worked several years at Portsmouth Hospital. Relocating to Pasadena, Texas, Marjorie continued her nursing career and retired in 1981. Upon retiring she resided in Coupeville, Washington. Marjorie recently moved to Laconia, New Hampshire where she was an avid Wal-Mart shopper, loved playing cribbage, and taking care of her cat, Missy.

Her husband, Stanley Scott, and sons Robert and David preceded her in death: She is survived by Marilyn and husband Bill Carta of Yuba City, California; Carol and husband Joe Barrett of Oak Harbor, Washington; Wayne and wife Charlotte of Mulberry Florida; Sharon and husband George of Laconia; Linda and husband Bob Chisholm of Canterbury, New Hampshire and daughter-in-law Jackie Packard of Dover New Hampshire. Her grandchildren are: Janet, Susan, Cathy, Nancy, Debbie, Terry, Joyce, Mike, Kathy, David Jr., Karen, Mike, Jay, Cheryl, John and Dan. She also had more than two-dozen great-grandchildren and two great great grandsons. Marjorie was the daughter of Henry and Henrietta Morse of Rutland, Vermont.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
