Virginia McKinnon

Laconia-----Virginia McKinnon, 78, of 11 Apple Ridge Road died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, December 28, 2009.
Miss McKinnon was born September 15, 1931 in Thornton, N.H., the daughter of Norman and Mary (Ferrin) McKinnon. She was a long time resident of Laconia, and had been employed at Lakes Region General Hospital. She was a bird watching enthusiast and was known for her great love and affection for children.
Miss McKinnon is survived by her sister and Guardian Angel, Eileen Vieira, of Commack, New York; and many nieces and nephews she loved deeply. She will be sorely missed by her caregivers.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont, N.H.
A spring service will be at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, N. H.
