Albert J. Dufault

Laconia-----(Joseph) Albert “Al” Dufault, 83, of 30 County Drive died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Sunday, December 27, 2009.
Al was born February 2, 1926 in Cumberland, Rhode Island, the son of Eugene & Dolores (McDuff) Dufault. He was raised in Cumberland and was self-employed as a painter for over forty years, retiring in 1990.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. (Greene) Dufault, of Springfield, Vermont; a son, Kenneth Dufault, of Merrimack; two daughters, Katherine Ruggles of Laconia and Theresa Burney of Plymouth; nine grandchildren, Jamie Dufault of Hendersonville, NC and Andrew Dufault of Merrimack, Joshua, Jacob Ruggles of Laconia and Jessica Ruggles of Corinth, New York, Nathan Morris of Franklin, Amanda Morris of Ashland and Desire and Savannah Burney both of Plymouth; four great grandchildren; a brother, Maurice Dufault, of Florida; a sister, Rose “Meekle” (Dufault) Lantagne, of Providence, Rhode Island and several nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dufault was predeceased by two sons, Kevin Dufault and John Edwin Dufault, by a brother, Joseph Dufault, and by a sister, Sister Doris Dufault.
There will be no calling hours
A Memorial Service will be held in the spring.
Spring burial will be in the family lot in Holy Cross Cemetery, Franklin. N.H.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Belknap County Nursing Home – Activities Fund, 30 County Drive, Laconia, N. H. 03246.
