Katherine L. Downs

Belmont-----Katherine L. Downs, 64, of 49 Cherry Street, died at Lakes Region General Hospital on Saturday, December 5, 2009.

Mrs. Downs was born October 3, 1945 in Concord, NH, the daughter of Austin Charles and Phyllis (Kimball) Carr.

Mrs. Downs had been a resident of Belmont for the past six years coming from Loudon, NH. She had been previously employed by Beede Electric of Loudon. Mrs. Downs enjoyed babysitting and camping and the ocean.
Survivors include her husband, Barton E. Downs, of Belmont; a son Jamie Downs, and his wife, Liz, of Colebrook; her mother, Phyllis, of Claremont, four grandchildren, Michael, James, Kristine and Katie; two great grandchildren, Clifford and Bruce. She was predeceased by her father Charles Carr.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
