Belmont-----Fern Glassett, 89, of 7 Magnolia Lane, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, on Monday, December 22, 2008.

Fern was born November 23, 1919 in Lowell, MA., the daughter of Isadore A. and Andree (Trefois) Tetreault.

Fern was the widow of Robert Glassett who died in October, 2003.

She has been a resident of Belmont for the past five years coming from Auburn, ME.
She liked to spend time gardening and being with family and friends.

Fern is survived by her son, John “Jack” Arsenault of Newton, MA.; a daughter, Patricia Beach of Poland Spring, ME.; three grandchildren, Jolie Hassler of Gilford, Jill Maroney of Rockland, MA., and Kari Roy of Lewiston, ME.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont, N.H. on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 10:00AM.
Burial will be held in Gracelawn Memorial Park, Auburn, ME.

In lieu of flowers St. Jude Children Research Hospital Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
