Laconia-----Priscilla L. Chase, 96, formerly of 23 Dolloff St. and 25 Union Avenue, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Thursday, December 18, 2008.

Mrs. Chase was the widow of Fred M. Chase who died in 1973.

Mrs. Chase was born November 30, 1912 in Farmington, N.H., the daughter of William and Bessie (Gilman) Curtis. She was a longtime resident of Laconia and was a member of the Evangelical Baptist Church of Laconia.

Survivors include a daughter, Joanne King, of Columbus, Georgia; eleven grandchildren, Gary Williams, David Williams, Karen Langevin, Katherine Rice, Dennis Rice, Priscilla Rice, Mark Vose, Richard Vose, Cynthia Dillard, Timothy Vose and Ernest Munsey; numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Chase was predeceased by two daughters, Dolores Rice and Carolyn Munsey and by two grandsons, Clifford Williams, Jr. & Russell Vose.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2008 at 1:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.

Spring burial will be in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Farmington, N.H.,

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246, the Evangelical Baptist Church of Laconia, 12 Veterans Square, Laconia, N. H. 03246, or to a charity of one’s choice.
