John T. Baxley

Rochester-----John T. Baxley, 54, of 28 Academy Street Apt. 6, died at the Frisbee Memorial Hospital, on Friday, December 26, 2008 following two years with lung and heart problems.

John was born March 15, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Thomas G. and Virginia (Johnson) Baxley.

John lived in Laconia for many years before moving to Rochester a year ago. He had been employed at Aavid and Hebert Foundry in Laconia.

Survivors include a daughter, Gina Baxley Efthimiou, of Rochester; a son, John Thomas Baxley, Jr., of Laconia; four grandchildren, Deven Efthimiou, Damien LaFlamme, Tammy Efthimiou and Tieah Efthimiou all of Rochester; three brothers, Thomas Baxley of New Hampshire , James Baxley of California and Michael Baxley of New Hampshire and a sister, Maureen Baxley, also of New Hampshire. He was predeceased by his parents.

There are no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H. on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 11:00AM.
