Judith Fortin Tibbetts

Rochester-------Judith Fortin Tibbetts, 66 of 4 Beach Lane Rochester and formerly long time resident of the Lakes Region died Friday December 2, 2005 at the Wentworth-Douglas Hospital Dover after a brief illness.

Mrs. Tibbetts was born May 5, 1939 in Laconia the daughter of Leo and Eva (Thompson) Fortin. She was raised in Laconia and had lived in the Lakes Region for over 50 years.

Mrs. Tibbetts had been employed for many years by New England Telephone. She had also worked at Rosen’s and The Sundial Shop.

She enjoyed traveling, computers, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years Calvin Tibbetts of Rochester; 2 daughters and son-in-laws Shelly and Craig Middleton of Gilford and Lisa and Gary Ratchford of Moultonborough; a grandson Kyle Middleton and twin granddaughters Ashley and Chelsea Ratchford; many nephews and nieces. She was much loved and will be sorely missed.

Calling hours will be held Monday December 5, 2005 from 6-8 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia using the Carriage House entrance.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church 30 Church Street, Laconia Tuesday at 11:00 AM The Rev. Gary Kosmowski Pastor of the church will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Judy’s favorite charity, Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Hampshire 66 Hanover Street Suite #101 Manchester, NH 03101-2230.
