Beulah M. Merritt

Laconia-----Beulah M. Merritt, 95, of 41 Tilton Avenue, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 14, 2005. Mrs. Merritt was born August 22, 1910 in Hardwick, Vermont, the daughter of Arthur F. and Annie (Doonan) Michaud.

Mrs. Merritt had been a long time resident of Laconia. She lived with her sister, Katherine Morel, for many years helping to raise her children. Mrs. Merritt was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol DeCormier, of Laconia with whom she made her home for the past eighteen years; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by five brothers, Kenneth Michaud, Albert Michaud, Norman Michaud, Fabian Michaud and Vernon Michaud and by three sisters, Katherine Morel, Gladys Michaud and Irene Poisson.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia on Sunday, December 18, 2005 at 4:30 PM by Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church.

Burial will be at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Belknap County Nursing Home Activities Fund, 30 County Drive, Laconia, NH 03246. Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
