David J. LaRoche

Sanbornton-----David J. LaRoche, 71, of 373 Steele Hill Road, died at his home on Monday, December 12, 2005.

Mr. LaRoche was born July 24, 1934 in Laconia, NH, the son of Alfred S. and Margaret M. (Shepard) LaRoche. He lived and attended schools in Laconia and in Maryland before enlisting in the U. S. Marine Corps. during the Korean War. He moved to Sanbornton forty-two years ago.

Mr. LaRoche was a self-employed logger and carpenter and retired in 1995. He was a hunter and loved the out-of-doors. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid skier.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa Y. (Valorose) LaRoche, of Sanbornton; three daughters, Margaret M. Flack, of Belmont, Diana L. LaRoche of Danbury and Lisa A. LaRoche of Hill; a grandchild, Leslie M. Barnard, of Plaistow; a brother, Peter N. LaRoche, of Mechanicsville, Maryland and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 275 Chestnut Street, Room 319, Manchester, NH 03101.
