Harold C. Denney

Franklin-----Harold C. Denney, 91, of 7 Baldwin Street and formerly of 43 Schoolhouse Hill Road, Gilford, died at the Mountain Ridge Center on Tuesday, December 13, 2005. He was the widower of Louise (Glines) Denney who died in 2002.

Mr. Denney was born September 27, 1914 in Boston, MA, the son of Harry and Edith (Rand) Denney.

Mr. Denney served in the U. S. Army during WWII. After the War, Mr. Denney was employed by the CCC building many roads in New Hampshire. He was later employed at Scott & Williams for many years.

Mr. Denney enjoyed motorcycles and snowmobiling and was a member of a motorcycle club. He was a CB operator and an avid fisherman.

Survivors include two daughters, Norma J. Ogren of Northfield and Dolores E. Hill of W. Franklin, many grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2005 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A graveside service will be held in the Spring at the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia.
