Laconia-----Howard  R.  Frederick, 75, of 30 County Drive, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Thursday, August 21, 2008.

Mr. Frederick was born March 11, 1933 in Paterson, New Jersey, the son of Walter and Lillian (Norris) Frederick.  He lived in New Jersey for most of his life where he was employed at K.E.M.   In 1995, he moved to Gilford.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Shirley Carol (Mead) Frederick, of Concord; two daughters, Constance L. Landi and her husband,  Robert,  of  Gilford and Karen  G.  Frederick-Walsh of Georgia; four grandchildren, Michael Landi, James Walsh, Tara Walsh and Timothy Walsh and two sisters, Beatrice Fremgen of New Jersey and Ruth Intres of New York.  He was predeceased by three brothers, Walter, Charles and Raymond and by a sister, Marion Getgood.

Mr. Frederick was an awesome dad.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2008 from 1:00-3:00PM at the Gilford Community Church, 19 Potter Hill Road, Gilford, N.H.

A Funeral Service will follow the calling hour at 3:00PM also at the Church.   Rev. Michael Graham, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, N.H.

Because of the wonderful care that Howard received during his stay at the  Belknap County Nursing Home, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Belknap County Nursing Home, Activities Fund, 30 County Drive, Laconia, N. H.  03246.
