Donald A. Boissonnault

Laconia----Donald A. Boissonnault, 73, of 103 Blueberry Lane, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Lakes Region General Hospital.

         Mr. Boissonnault was born November 25, 1934 in Laconia, the son of Joseph and Bertha (Perkins) Boissonnault.  He was the fifth of six  children.

         Mr. Boissonnault served in the U.S. Marine Corps.  He lived in Laconia for most of his life and was employed at the Lakes Region General Hospital for seventeen years, retiring in 1989.

         Mr. Boissonnault enjoyed spending time with his family and talking with neighbors and church members.  He was a loving father and a wonderful husband.

         Mr. Boissonnault is survived by his wife, Diana L. (Lamphere) Boissonnault, of Laconia; three sons, George Boissonnault, Peter Boissonnault and Donald Boissonnault, all of Laconia; two daughters, Sara Boissonnault and Jennifer Boissonnault, both of Laconia; two stepchildren, Thomas and Linda Isabelle, of Laconia; several grandchildren; one great grandchild;  several brothers and sisters and several nephews and nieces.

         A calling hour will be held on Monday, August 25, 2008 from 2:00-3:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

         A Funeral Service will follow the calling hour at 3:00PM also at the Funeral Home.  Pastor Bob Farah, pastor of the Center Harbor Christian Church, will officiate.

         Burial will be at the N. H. State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, N.H.

         In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Center Harbor Christian Church, PO Box 927, Center Harbor,  N.H. 03226.

         Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H. is in charge of the arrangements.
