Laconia-----Yvonne M. Belanger, 99, formerly of 57 Union Avenue, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Tuesday, August 12, 2008.

Mrs. Belanger was born January 6, 1909 in Laconia, the daughter of Omer and Albertine (St. Onge) Doyon.

Mrs. Belanger was a lifelong resident of Laconia and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. She was a member of the Association Canado-Americaine and a member of the Laconia Elders Friendship Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Scott of Laconia and Barbara Melillo of Suffern, NY; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; one nephew and three nieces. Mrs. Belanger was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Belanger, in 1996, by brothers, Walter and Alfred Doyon, and by a nephew, Michael Doyon.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 1:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Belknap County Nursing Home, Activities Fund, 30 County Drive, Laconia, NH, 03246.
