Robert D. Sederquist, Sr.

Alton Bay-----Robert D. Sederquist, Sr., 95, of 1570 Mt. Major Highway, died at the Forestview Manor in Meredith on Saturday, August 11, 2007.

Mr. Sederquist was born August 28, 1911 in Auburndale, Mass., the son of Angeonette (Davis) and Arthur B. Sederquist, Sr.

Mr. Sederquist was a public accountant and was employed at Roger Smith Hotels Corp. in New York from 1935-1942 and at General Electric, Lynn, Mass. from 1942 to 1950.   Mr. Sederquist moved to West Alton where he opened his own business and then moved to Laconia in 1949.  In 1959, he moved back to West Alton.

Mr. Sederquist was a fifty year-member of the Mt. Lebanon Lodge #32 F. & A. M. and was Past Master in 1966.

Survivors include two sons, Peter R. Sederquist, of West Alton, NH and Thomas E. Sederquist, of Gorham, NH; two grandchildren, Robert D. Sederquist III of Salt Lake City, Utah and Marco Thomas Sederquist, of San Francisco, California and one nephew.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sederquist was predeceased by his first wife, Inez (Elliott) Sederquist in 1988, by his second wife, Edith (Revell) Sederquist in 2004, by a son, Robert D. Sederquist, Jr. in 1999 and by a brother, Arthur B. Sederquist, Jr., in 1977.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at the New Riverside Cemetery, Rte. 28, Alton on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 1:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall Street, Manchester, NH 03101.
