Allen C. Haskell

Laconia----Allen C. Haskell, 73 of 38B Summer Street died at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, Saturday August 25, 2007. He was the widower of Violette G. (Poulin) Haskell who died in 1989.

Allen was born September 11, 1933 in Gilford the son of Paul E. and Signe (Petterson) Haskell, Sr. He was a life long resident of the Lakes Region. He served in the US Air Force from 1956-1958. He enjoyed wintering in Titusville, Florida for many years. He enjoyed helping others.

Allen was employed as an operator for 35 years for Pike Industries Inc. retiring in 1993.

Survivors include a daughter Charlotte Walter of Laconia; 2 grandchildren Timothy Walter and Macayla Walter both of Laconia; a sister Elsie Robinson of Co.; a longtime companion Claire West of Laconia and extended loving family; many nephews and nieces.

Beside his parents he was predeceased by a son Anthony Haskell, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday August 28, 2007 from 1-3PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home 164 Pleasant Laconia using the Carriage House entrance.  Funeral services will follow the calling hours at 3:00 PM. also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center One Medical Center Drive Lebanon, NH 03756-0001.
