Richard "Dick" J. Pellet

Laconia-----Richard “Dick” J. Pellet, 82, of PO Box 5365, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Sunday, August 13, 2006.

Mr. Pellet was born January 7, 1924 in NY, NY, the son of the late Regis and Helen (Becker) Pellet.

Mr. Pellet served in the U. S. Army. He lived in Spring Valley, NY for many years before moving to New Hampshire twenty-two years ago. He was a New York City Police Officer for over thirty years, retiring in 1982.

Mr. Pellet was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Lakeport, NH He enjoyed fishing, boating and camping. He was a member of the Wilkins-Smith American Legion, Post #1.

Mr. Pellet was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Eleanor E. (Vooht) Pellet, of Laconia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Edward Walsh of South Salem, NY and Diane and Richard Fink of Concord, NH; three grandchildren, Richard Fink, Jr. of Manchester, NH, Jennifer Fink of Braford, MA and Robert Fink of Manchester, NH; two brothers, Ralph Pellet and Regis Pellet, both of N Y; two sisters, Lucille Bulova of NJ and Marie Marshall of NY and many nephews and nieces.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 50 Washington Street, Lakeport, NH on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 10:00.AM.

Burial will follow in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
