Fernand "Frenchie" J. DuQuette

Meredith-----Fernand “Frenchie” J. DuQuette, 58, of 8 Fortier Road, died at his home on Monday, August 15, 2005.

Mr. DuQuette was born October 16, 1946 in Chartierville, P.Q., Canada the son of Conrad and Germaine (Leclerc) DuQuette. Mr. DuQuette moved to Laconia, NH forty-one years ago.

He was employed as a mechanic at Lewis & Saunders for thirty-two years and was a home worker for Annalee Dolls for sixteen years. He retired in 2001. Mr. DuQuette enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, camping, and riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his wife, Diane (Clark ) DuQuette, of Meredith, NH; a son, Andre J. DuQuette, of Meredith, NH; a daughter, Rose Buskey, of Meredith, NH; four grandchildren, Zachary Buskey, Kaitlynn Buskey, Austin DuQuette and Samantha DuQuette; two brothers, Leanald DuQuette, of Quebec City, Canada and Constant DuQuette, of Granby, Canada; four sisters, Lucia Thibodeau of Lewiston, Maine, Lorraine DuQuette of Whitefield, NH and Helene DuQuette and Micheline Belisle both of Granby, Canada and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Friday, August 19, 2005 from 7:00-9:00pm in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

There will be a private graveside service at the family lot in Meredith Village Cemetery, Meredith, NH.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
