Milford, NH--------Mrs. Beverly I. Newcomb, 64, of 26 Melendy Road, died Saturday August 17, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Nashua, NH.

Mrs. Newcomb was born January 29, 1938 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Charles and Isabelle (Gallagher) Huntoon. She attended the Belmont Schools. She lived in Lowell, Massachusetts for several years before moving to Milford a year ago. For many years she was manager of the Veterans Home in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Newcomb was an avid bingo player

Survivors include six sons, Gary Gouveia, Joseph Gouveia, Jr. and James Gouveia all of Lowell, MA; Kenneth Gouveia of Pennsylvania; Glenn Gouveia of Tewksbury, MA; and Richard Gouveia of Vermont; three daughters, Beverly King-Krummes of Milford, NH; Barbara Hamilton-Kearns of Billerica, MA and Teresa San Doval of California; 21 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Stanley of Belmont, NH and Melba Chase of Northfield, NH and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Daniel Gouveia in 1994 and by a brother and sister, Charles Huntoon, Jr. and Hazel May Huntoon.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from noon until 2 PM at The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Service will follow calling hours at 2:00 PM, at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the family lot in South Road Cemetery, Belmont, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Route 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
