Frank A. Spaulding, Jr.

Gilmanton Iron Works----Frank A. Spaulding, Jr., 70, of 76 Crystal Lake Road, died at his home on Sunday, April 11, 2010.

Mr. Spaulding was born September 3, 1939 in Stoneham, Mass., the son of Florence (Finamore) and Frank A. Spaulding, Sr. He lived in Wilmington, Mass. for many years before moving to New Hampshire thirty-five years ago. He had been employed at Lakes Region Linen for twenty years and was employed by the State of New Hampshire for a number of years at the Lakes Region Prison in the multiple offenders’ program.

Mr. Spaulding was a member of the Rainbo Fish & Game Club. He enjoyed fishing and watching the Red Sox and Bruins.

Survivors include a son, Frank A. Spaulding III, of N.H.; four daughters, Nancy Spaulding, of Mass., Terry Musmecci of Everett, Mass., Sheila Greathead of Woonsocket, R.I. and Maryann Spaulding of N.H.; thirteen grandchildren; a sister, Ruthann Spaulding Soderholm, of Wilmington, Mass. and numerous nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Patrick Charles Greathead.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 11:30AM at the Gilmanton Community Church, Gilmanton Corners, N.H. Rev. Christopher Stevens, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 505 Eighth Ave. Suite 902, N.Y., N.Y. 10018 or to the American Cancer Society, Two Commerce Drive Suite 110, Bedford, N.H. 03110.
