Ruth Ella (Harvey) Marden Clapper

Holderness----Ruth Ella (Harvey) Marden Clapper, 88, of Holderness, died at her home on Wednesday, April 14, 2010.

Mrs. Clapper was born November 14, 1921 in Laconia, N. H., the daughter of Vernon C. & Della (Burleigh) Harvey.

Mrs. Clapper was raised in New Hampton before moving to Holderness.

Mrs. Clapper is survived by her son, David Clapper, Sr., of Meredith; three grandchildren, David Clapper, Jr. of Laconia, Beth Clapper of Meredith and Tina M. Paquin of Meredith; one great grandchild; a sister, Mary Southworth, of Gilford; one niece and two nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clapper was predeceased by her first husband, Paul Marden, on March 27, 1961, by her second husband, William Clapper, on January 4, 1992; by a brother, Warren Harvey, and by a sister, Vera Hebert.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.

Burial will be in the family lot in Village Cemetery, New Hampton, N.H.
