Armand Hilliard

Meredith Center-----Armand Hilliard, 77, of 7 Dow Road, died at his home on Saturday, April 7, 2007.  He was the widower of Edith (Bean) Hilliard who died in 1993.

Mr. Hilliard was born August 27, 1929 in Laconia, NH, the son of Ervin S. and Marion (Constant) Hilliard.   He lived in Laconia for many years before moving to Meredith Center in 1956.  He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was employed at the Laconia Malleable Iron Co. for thirty-five years.  He also worked at the Laconia State School & Training Center.

Mr. Hilliard enjoyed talking with people. 

Survivors include two sons, David Hilliard of Laconia and Paul Hilliard of New Hampton, two daughters, Mary Smith, of East Dover, Vermont and Carol Brinson, of Jacksonville, N.C.; two step children, Eugene Mackay of Richfield, Springs, NY and Lucille Dunn of Florida; five grandchildren; one great grandchild and a brother, George Hilliard, of Belmont.  In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by two brothers, Francis Hilliard and Robert Hilliard and by four sisters, Marion, Evelyn, Lillian and Betty.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 1:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.  Rev. Robert Lemieux, Pastor of the Meredith Center Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in the family lot at Oakland Cemetery, Meredith Center, later this spring.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
