Janice Kilmer Kirk

Gilford----Janice Kilmer Kirk, widow of Robert D. Kirk, of Gilford, New Hampshire passed away peacefully at home on April 20, 2007 at the age of 83.  She was a woman of extraordinary faith, devoted to her family and to the Gilford Community Church.  Born in Worcester, MA, she found her way to the mountain and lake views of Gilford, NH in 1985 where she enjoyed painting, her membership in the Opechee Garden Club, her dedicated Bible Study Group, the restorative A.R.E. prayer group, and her beloved Liberty Hill Reading Group.

 She enjoyed the company of her many friends and activities in Gilford as well as extended family and friends in Illinois, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Arizona, Maine, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania.

 She is survived by her loving children, Bruce Kirk, John Kirk and his partner, Steve LaMonica, Laurel Kearney and her husband, Mark Kearney; her grand daughter, Alison Kirk Isabelle and her husband, Stephen Isabelle, her newborn great granddaughter, Madeline Jane Isabelle, and grandson, Alexander Kirk, and her sister, Ruth Lyle.

 A Celebration of Life Service is planned for April 28th, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Gilford Community Church, Potter Hill Road.  The Reverend Michael Graham, Pastor of the Church, and her nephew, Reverend Bradford Lyle, will officiate.  A reception will follow the service for family and friends at her home in Gilford.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Gilford Community Church, 19A Potter Hill Road, Gilford 03249.
