Linda L. (Tracy) Brosseau Frank

LINDA L. ( TRACY ) BROSSEAU FRANK – Belmont , NH .  Linda L. Brosseau Frank (63) passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her children, grandchildren and sister, Sunday, April 29th, 2007, after an 18 month battle with cancer. 

Linda was born in Burlington , VT on November 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Leon J. and Isabelle L Tracy.  Linda attended Burlington schools and received a post secondary certificate from Champlain College .  She was married to the late Roland A. Brosseau, and worked for several years at St. Michael’s College Library.  In the early 1980’s, Linda relocated to New Hampshire where she married William G. Frank, and soon after established William G. Frank Medical Gas Systems, where she worked for several years as vice president.  In the late 1990’s, Linda moved to Belmont , NH to be closer to her children and grandchildren. 

Throughout her lifetime, Linda often engaged in performing random acts of kindness, and had a particular affinity for helping senior citizens.  She volunteered with Twin Rivers Community Volunteers, driving elderly and home bound people to their doctor’s appointments and was a deacon at the Tilton-Northfield Congregational Church.  Linda also loved animals and volunteered at the NH Humane Society and the Concord SPCA, where she adopted her beloved four-legged, pampered prince, Taz. 

Her other passions in life were for singing and dancing, and she always had a tune in her heart that she freely shared with others, along with her wonderful smile. 

Linda is the beloved mother of Sheila Dion, of Belmont , NH ; Lisha Brosseau, of Laconia , NH ; and Tracy Brosseau, of Concord , NH .  She is the grandmother of seven, Josh, Alex, and Danielle Dion; Kami and April Massie; Kyla and Megan Brosseau and the great-grandmother to McKenzie Rawling and McKenzie’s soon to be born sibling.  Linda is also the youngest sister of Janet Salzman, of Arizona and Shirley Barnier, of Burlington , VT.   Linda was predeceased by her sister Lorraine Siple, of VT and her brother Robert Blair, of CA.  Linda also leaves behind two wonderful, caring and compassionate caregivers, Cheryl Elliott, of Belmont, NH and Linda’s niece, Michelle Boise, without whose help, Linda would not have been able to remain at home throughout her illness. 

There will be no calling hours. 

Services will be held on Saturday, May 5th, at 11 am, at the Sanbornton Congregational Church, in Sanbornton , NH .  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Willow Fund, c/o the NH Humane Society, 1305 Meredith Center Road, PO Box 572 , Laconia , NH   03246 or the Twin Rivers Community Volunteers, 58 Weed Road , Meredith , NH   03253.
